This season, Hamburg have left behind their sponsorship with Emirates to sign up with Orthomol. Every good fan of the German club is aware of this change, something of which Adidas, the sports brand that dresses the team, must of course be informed.
Or not. Because as crazy as it may seem, Adidas has made a mistake and has printed on the second kit of the club with which it has an agreement the sponsorship of Emirates instead of Orthomol, which has made the shirts unusable.
In fact, according to 'TAG24', this situation will force HSV to play the first five league games and the DFB Pokal tie against Braunschweig in the white home shirt, as the second kit will not be available in time.
The German team's current sponsor does appear correctly on the first kit, which, in fact, they were able to wear for the first time in the pre-season friendly against Basel on Saturday 17th July.
An inexplicable mistake that has resulted in the supplier Adidas sending dozens of unusable shirts to the Volksparkstadion. So for the first game of the 2021-22 season in the German Second Division, next Friday 23th July, Hamburg will have to wear their home shirt in the away game against Schalke 04, as well as against FC St. Pauli on 13th August.
