Aberdeen reject Celtic's bid for Scott McKenna

After a few weeks of rumurs of a move, and denials by both clubs, Celtic did make an offer for Scotland international Scott McKenna.
The bid was believed to be in the region of £3.5million, but Aberdeen are holding firmly onto the defender.
According to the 'Daily Mail' Aberdeen have valued McKenna at more than £5million, and have warned that even with an increased bid, they would not sell.
Brendan Rodgers is reluctant to let Dedryck Boyata leave until he finds a suitable replacement, and coach John Kennedy was spotted at Aberdeen's Europa League clash with Burnley, checking out the player.
McKenna, who is currently sidelined due to a hamstring injury, was the subject of four unsuccessful bids by Hull City in January.
In March, the club extended the defender's contract until 2023.
McKenna has been capped four times for Scotland, and will be named as part of the squad on Monday for the UEFA Nations League clash versus Albania.
Aberdeen believe that McKenna's price will only increase if they hold on to him until a move to England emerges.
