33 year-old scores on debut

The easy 6-0 victory for Italy over Moldova was highlighted by a debut goal from Caputo. The Sassuolo strike managed to get it aged 33.
"We should believe in our dreams", said Caputo after the game. There are very few players who make their international debuts and manage to score once they pass the age of 30, but the Italian defied the odds.
Caputo began his career in the seventh division of Italian football. He has risen through the ranks twice to play in Serie A, and with Sassuolo he scored 21 goals last season and has three in three games at the start of this one.
This was what convinced Roberto Mancini, who didn't see any alternative than to give the striker a call-up to the Azzuri and he rewarded his manager with a goal against Moldova.
