300 not out for Pique in LaLiga

The 2018/19 season continues to be one of curious statistics for Barcelona. After Luis Suarez's 200th game for the club and the team's 6000th LaLiga goal, it was Pique's turn to take centre stage against Valladolid.

In making his 278th LaLiga appearance for Barca, the Catalan stopper joined the 300 club, having also featured in 22 games for Real Zaragoza during a spell on loan from Manchester United back in 2006/07.

Whatsmore, Pique boasts an incredible record, having been on the losing side just 25 times in the Spanish top flight prior to Saturday's clash; four with Zaragoza and 21 with Barca.

220 wins, 54 draws, 25 losses, 79 yellow cards, seven red cards and 25 goals is the low-down of Pique's LaLiga career to date and at just 31, there is reason to believe there will be plenty more yet to come for the experienced defender.
