2 years, 16 million and an ambassador for Qatar

Buffon, aged 40, is seriously considering a move to the French champions to continue his footballing career. 'La Gazzetta dello Sport' has claimed that Buffon and PSG are in talks and an agreement could be close.
To begin with, PSG have offered a two year contract. Buffon is still resisting the urge to step away from the game and in Paris he would still be at an important European team. Two years would give certain guarantees over his future.
Of course, he brings some star value, and as a result they would pay him around eight million euro a year. This could make a two year stay even more attractive.
But there is more to PSG's offer. The Qatari owners of the club want Buffon to become an ambassador for their country ahead of the World Cup in 2022. It's an idea that the Italian could be open to.
"I can't speak French," Buffon said in his final press conference. In doing so, he neither confirmed nor denied that the move was happening, but he prove that there were talks ongoing. Paris is waiting.
