Salah marked his return with a goal

All of the talk in the lead-up to the game had centered around whether Salah would be fit enough to return for Egypt, and there was joy amongst fans when he featured in the starting XI.
He wasn't at his usual magical best for the majority of the tie, evidently not fully fit quite yet, but he marked his return with a goal in the seond half.
After Russia had fired three goals past Egypt in quick succession, Salah pulled one back in the 73rd minute, from the penalty spot.
The Liverpool forward won the spot kick himself, after being brought down on the edge of the box.
It was initially given as a free-kick, but VAR awarded Hector Cuper's side a penalty. Salah stepped up and struck it over the keeper into the top right corner, making it 3-1.
