Saido Berahino could leave Stoke amidst Dutch interest

The forward has never scored for Stoke, despite playing 28 games for the club in two seasons.

In fact, it is two years and three months since the player last bagged a goal, his clearest chance to end the drought resulting in a missed penalty against Southampton in September.

Berahino's time at the Potters went from bad to worse, as he clashed with Paul Lambert when the Scot took over the reigns at the club, sending him to their Under-23 side on the grounds of poor discipline.

However, the ex-West Brom forward could be given a chance to resurect his career in the Eridivisie. 

The Dutch champions are looking to bolster a strikeforce that includes former Newcastle-loanee Luuk de Jong, while Berahino could become Robin van Persie's strike partner for Rotterdam-based Feyernoord, who managed five goals in 12 games on his return to Dutch football in January.
