Paulinho offers himself to Barca: "Money wouldn't be a problem"

Paulinho sparked rumours about a possible return to Barcelona. The player said goodbye to Chinese football after six years with Guangzhou and would love to say "hello, old friend" to the Catalan club.
The Brazilian acknowledged this in an interview with 'Mundo Deportivo': "Barca is a team I know well. I spent an unforgettable year there, both at the club and in the city, and we won La Liga and the Copa del Rey. If I had another chance, and if it would be something good for both myself and my family, I would gladly go back".
The midfielder admitted that Barca wouldn't find it hard to reach an agreement with him: "For me, the issue of money wouldn't be a problem. It never has been, even less so if it's a club like Barca that comes calling".
"I already showed this when I left Guangzhou to go there, earning a lot less than I did in China. I've never put money before my career, so it wouldn't be a problem to return there. Also, this time the club wouldn't have to pay a transfer fee for me", he added.
In addition, Paulinho spoke about the future of Leo Messi: "It's difficult to speak about someone I don't know, but Leo has a huge history at Barca, he's the best in the world, and I think that both the supporters and the club would love for him to finish his career there".
"I think that everyone who has signed for them are at Barca's level. Sergio Aguero, por example, is a top striker. I haven't been able to see Emerson in many games, but from what I have seen he looks like a good player: steady, disciplined, strong, powerful... I think he has it all to be successful at Barca", he concluded.
