O'Neill: 'We're technically short'

The 'Green Army' face Wales in Dublin in the UEFA Nations League on Thursday and sit bottom of their group, in search of a victory. 

Stoke City midfielder James McClean is set to come back into the starting lineup despite missing out on the previous month's matches with a broken wrist.

McClean, 29, was annoyed to miss out on the fixtures, to which Martin O'Neill has repsonded. 

"James is obviously sometimes not right in the head... but he's brilliant for us. 

"He epitomises everything about what this side has been over the last number of years... we're technically short, we're not short of heart."
