According to an information from Esteban Edul, a journalist from 'ESPN', the player's entourage suggested that the '10' could seek a more competitive league for the first half of 2026. The idea is to arrive at the World Cup with Argentina after six months of higher-level play and competition for the Argentinian star.

Despite being 38 years old, Messi feels in better shape than his teammates and has constantly showed it in the Club World Cup. This feeling has been shared by many pundits afther Inter Miami's matches against Al Ahly, Porto, Palmeiras and, above all, PSG. Messi craves high-stakes challenges to fuel 2026 World Cup bid, hinting at Inter Miami frustrations.
