Van Dijk ‘praying’ for fans hurt in Liverpool trophy parade collision

Liverpool captain Virgil van Dijk has shown his support for fans injured in the incident during the Premier League title parade.
Nearly 50 people, including four children, were injured when a car ploughed into the crowd in Liverpool city centre on Monday.
Authorities confirmed the arrest of a 53-year-old British man on suspicion of attempted murder, dangerous driving and driving under the influence of drugs.
Van Dijk used his social media to send a message of encouragement to those affected: "My thoughts and prayers are with everyone affected. Praying for a speedy recovery for everyone who suffered injuries. We are with you all."
