Tchouameni labels Club World Cup 'very important' for Real Madrid

Real Madrid midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni was named April's Player of the Month by fans. Having been presented with the award on Wednesday, the Frenchman took the opportunity to talk about the upcoming Club World Cup.
"We cannot wait to play our final La Liga game at the Bernabeu with our supporters," Tchouameni began, referring to Saturday's match against Real Sociedad. But we still have another competition, the Club World Cup, which I believe is going to be very important for the club."
The Club World Cup, set to debut its expanded 32-team format on June 14 in the United States, is Los Blancos' final opportunity to turn their fortunes around and salvage their season after missing out on the Spanish Super Cup, Copa del Rey and the La Liga
Reflecting on his season overall, the 25-year-old added: "I'm very happy, I work a lot to play well on the pitch and help my team. Thank you to all the Madridistas for voting for me. I intend to give it my all and fight to the best of my abilities. I'm going to do whatever is possible to continue like this."
