Simons and Openda stand with Bragantino in Brazil showdown

Red Bull not only gives you wings... but also connections. At least, that's what Xavi Simons and Lois Openda might say. The RB Leipzig players turned into fans for a day to show their support for one of the sister clubs within the Red Bull conglomerate: RB Bragantino.
The presence of two of Leipzig's best players, who have spent the season under the guidance of Zsolt Low, in South America had a clear purpose. Leipzig are set to wrap up their season with a friendly against Santos, who have recently welcomed Neymar back following injury.
The match is scheduled for Wednesday at the same stadium where Simons and Openda were spotted. Seizing the opportunity, Simons and Openda made their way to the Nabi Abi Chedid Stadium to watch the clash against Juventude live.
The home side had started the season strongly but, after two winless rounds, were in desperate need of a victory – a result they ultimately secured, much to the delight of the Dutchman and the Belgian.
Bragantino's official X, formerly known as Twitter, account posted a photo capturing the moment when Simons and Openda, dressed in commemorative shirts and seated in a box, witnessed Jhon Jhon's goal just before half-time.
Openda even appeared to sense the goal was coming, recording the match-winner on his mobile phone – the only goal of the encounter.
