Road to Euro U21 2027 Underway as Kazakhstan host Andorra

On 11 June, the final phase of the European Under-21 Championship kicks off in Slovakia. The 16 qualified teams will be looking for glory and to become kings of Europe in their category. However, the particularities of the busy calendar mean that before the winner is known in 2025, the road to the 2027 tournament has already begun.
Kazakhstan U21 and Andorra U21 meet on Thursday 5 June to kick off the qualifiers for the next edition of the continental showpiece, which will take place in a couple of years' time. However, these teams will not be the only ones to get off to an early start.
Other early teams include the Faroe Islands U21s and Estonia U21s, who meet on Saturday 7 June, as well as Moldova, who take on Andorra on Tuesday 10 June.
Andorra will thus be the tournament's most promising team, as they will have already played two of their ten qualifiers for the 2027 tournament in Albania and Serbia by the time the European Championship kicks off.
