Mbappe voted Real Madrid's best player by fans

French striker Kylian Mbappe, who plays for Real Madrid, has revealed his enthusiasm ahead of the Club World Cup, which begins in a few days in the United States, describing it as "a new chance to become world champions with the club."
His comments come after being named by Real Madrid supporters and sponsor Mahou as the team's standout player this season. In his debut campaign, Mbappe became the club's highest-scoring newcomer in history with 43 goals, earning both the Pichichi Trophy and the European Golden Shoe.
With just two weeks to go until the tournament kicks off, the forward appeared upbeat: "This is the first time we will compete in a tournament like this. It's something new for us, but we are very excited because it's another opportunity to be world champions with the club. It's a great competition, taking place in the United States, with everyone watching and a lot of anticipation. As I said, it's new for us, so we'll do our best to win."
Mbappe also stated that he is "very happy to be here at Real Madrid," where he is completing his first season. "It's a new experience for me as a player and as a person," he said, having already won the UEFA Super Cup and the Intercontinental Cup.
"I had to adapt to the team, the country, a new language, and a new culture. Looking back, I feel very comfortable at the club, with the team, in the city, and in the country – and that shows on the pitch," added the French international, who admitted receiving the award is "a great honour" and a "positive moment" for him.
