Mbappe bids emotional farewell to Modric

Real Madrid striker Kylian Mbappe praised the figure of Croatian Luka Modric on the day he announced his departure from the club after the Club World Cup, and said that by sharing a dressing room with him he saw “what greatness means”.
“Brate, I was lucky to be able to play and share a dressing room with you this season. I saw up close what greatness means... Before being one of the best players of all time, you are a wonderful person,” the Frenchman wrote on his social networks and attached photographs with the Croatian.
“You wrote the history of the best club in the world for more than a decade and won everything. But you won something priceless: the respect and admiration of the world. Thank you for everything, legend,” he said.
Modric will bid farewell to the Santiago Bernabeu on Saturday to his fans, in what will be his last game at the Spanish club. The Croatian still has the FIFA Club World Cup ahead of him before leaving for good.
