Leverkusen’s Ten Hag targets former Man Utd duo in transfer plans

Recently appointed Bayer Leverkusen coach Erik ten Hag is planning his first transfer window at the German club. According to German media, the Dutch coach has set his sights on two of his former Manchester United charges: Antony and Alejandro Garnacho.
Leverkusen's sporting management consider both players as options to replace the possible departure of Florian Wirtz. The signing of Antony seems more feasible, as the Brazilian has returned to his best during his loan spell at Real Betis, where he has scored nine goals and provided five assists.
Garnacho, meanwhile, faces an uncertain future after being left out of United's squad for the final game of the season and receiving a clear message from coach Ruben Amorim.
Garnacho's departure from the English club this summer looks increasingly likely, which would facilitate a possible move to the Bundesliga. In Leverkusen, both players would have the opportunity to reunite with Ten Hag and relaunch their Bundesliga careers.
