Klopp rules out Butland as a backup for Alisson

The 7-2 at Villa Park, with Adrian San Miguel in goal, has made Liverpool look to the market. The Reds can still sign within England and already have a new target.

'The Mirror' said that the chosen to arrive at Anfield is Jack Butland, a goalkeeper who at 27 played his last year at Stoke City, in the Championship.

Butland does not have much game time at Stoke City because Michael O'Neill is relying on Adam Davies. 

However, Liverpool's plans clash with Jürgen Klopp's ideas. The German coach does not want to alter the squad and has complete confidence in Adrian.

So if Liverpool follow Klopp's plans, Alisson will be back as the first-choice goalkeeper and Adrian San Miguel as a substitute.
