Former Arsenal striker Lucas Perez leaves PSV

The journey of Lucas Perez in the Netherlands is about to come to an end. The Spanish striker, who left Deportivo in the winter transfer window to play for PSV, will leave the club on July 1st. The entity communicated on Wednesday after reporting the status of a footballer who is recovering from tuberculosis.
“Lucas Perez says he is recovering well. He is now out of quarantine and will continue his rehabilitation in his native Spain in consultation with PSV. The veteran's contract expires at the end of next month. He will look for a new club in the coming period. PSV thanks Lucas Perez for his efforts and wishes him all the best for the future,” the PSV statement read.
“I'm healthy again, working very hard to be fit for next season. I'm very happy to be back”, were the words of the Galician, who will now have to look for a new place to continue his sporting career. His time with the 'Granjeros' will come to an end with only 24 minutes under his belt (spread over three games).
Regarding the health investigation carried out by GGD Brabant-Zuidoost, the Department of Public Health reported that the results of the latest round of tests were “negative. “None of the players or staff members tested contracted a tuberculosis infection.”
