Fabian the new addition to Spain's training session

Fabian Ruiz was the new addition to the Spanish national team's fifth and final training session at Ciudad del Futbol, with which Luis de la Fuente has prepared for the Nations League semi-final against France in Stuttgart, where they will fly to early Wednesday afternoon.
The Champions League final, won by Fabian with PSG last Saturday, influenced the incorporation of one of the key players into Luis de la Fuente's scheme. On Tuesday night he joined the training camp and, hours later, he was one of the players in training on the eve of the match.
As has become the norm in recent times, Spain ruled out training at the Stuttgart Arena, the venue for the match. It opted to complete the entire preparation for the Nations League final four at home, the Spanish Football Federation's (RFEF) sports complex in Las Rozas.
The last of the training sessions that the Spanish internationals have completed since Saturday began in a good atmosphere before preparing the final tactical details behind closed doors with the inclusion of Fabian in the group.
The final training match and series of shots on goal marked the last session for De la Fuente to make decisions on the starting line-up for the France game.
The main doubts to be cleared up are in the centre of defence, between Vivian and Huijsen; whether to go for Fabian despite only completing one training session or opt for a more rested Merino in midfield; and the choice of a ‘9’.
Morata competes for the position with Oyarzabal and Omorodion, a newcomer to the final phase of a tournament with Spain. The internationals will have a final meal at the Ciudad del Futbol, before flying at 17:00 (15:00 GMT) from Barajas to Stuttgart. Luis de la Fuente and Pedri will appear before the press at the semi-final venue at 20:00 (18:00 GMT).
