Di Maria joins the list of goalscorers in the 2022 World Cup final, after adding to Lionel Messi's first. This gives breathing space to a so-far dominant Argentina side.

Angel Di Maria has just grabbed his first goal of the day and Argentina's second in the 2022 FIFA World Cup final.

It was a delicious move, which ended up at the Juventus man's feet, after it being put through to him from Brighton's MacAllister. He then showed no signs of hiccupping, slotting it past a sprawled Hugo Lloris into the bottom right-hand corner.

This goal gives the South American side breathing space in a final which they have so far been dominant.
