De Bruyne poised for Napoli move after Manchester City exit

The love story between De Bruyne and Manchester City has come to a mutual end, and the Belgian could soon begin a new chapter with Napoli's passionate fanbase.
After several days of celebrations across the Italian city and the high of clinching the club's fourth Scudetto, Napoli have already turned their attention to the transfer market, though the future of manager Antonio Conte remains uncertain. Their next target: Kevin De Bruyne.
According to Fabrizio Romano, the Serie A champions aim to finalise an agreement with the Belgian star this coming week. The deal is expected to progress once the player has fully focused on his plans for the next season and played his final match in a Manchester City shirt.
Napoli are reportedly offering him a three-year contract worth €27 million, including signing fees. The Diego Armando Maradona Stadium would provide the playmaker with an ambitious project in Europe and guaranteed Champions League football next season.
In recent months, De Bruyne had been linked with moves outside European football, with MLS side Chicago Fire leading the speculation. However, the Italians' sudden emergence could alter the midfielder's plans.
