Chelsea seek striker solution with move for Ekitike

The 22-year-old scored 22 goals and provided 12 assists in 48 appearances during the 2024/25 campaign, marking himself out as one of Europe's most promising young forwards. His clinical finishing have drawn interest from several clubs, but Chelsea appear intent on making a move.
Eintracht Frankfurt, however, are determined not to let their star asset leave without a significant fee. Sporting director Markus Krosche has reportedly set a €100 million price tag on the player, reflecting the club's strategy of maximising returns on developed talents.
The director's approach mirrors previous deals, including the €95 million sale of Randal Kolo Muani to Paris Saint-Germain in 2023, and he is said to be standing firm on the valuation.
The Londoners' interest in Ekitike comes as they look to address their pressing need for a striker, particularly with the club set to return to the Champions League next season.
While the Blues are determined to strengthen their attack, they may face a tough negotiation process given Frankfurt's firm stance and the high asking price for the Frenchman.
