Barcelona could trigger Joan Garcia's €25m clause

Espanyol managed to avoid relegation to the Spanish second division on the final day of the season. The Catalan side struggled throughout the campaign but finally achieved their goal, thanks in part to the incredible level of Joan Garcia in goal. 

The Spanish goalkeeper has conceded 51 goals in 38 official appearances for Espanyol, and his incredible level this season has put him on the radar of big European clubs such as FC Barcelona. 

The 'Cules' are reportedly interested in signing the goalkeeper from their neighboring rivals, who has a €25 million termination clause that could be triggered by Flick's team. 

However, the return of Ter Stegen and the high level of Szczesny would mean that Joan Garcia would have little space for next season, so the 'Cules would sign him to loan him out to another team next season, according to Fabrizio Romano.
